It is so difficult to demonstrate our love through obedience basically because we are fleshy creatures. We are creatures who want to act off of our fleshy needs and not our spiritual needs. In this world today, it is so popularized to focus on "yourself", "be good to yourself", "pamper yourself" and "take care of yourself first", of course in a worldly sense. Also, with the world being such "quickacholics", an instant-o-matic society it can be hard to resist satisfying flesh first especially if you lack the spiritual guidance of God. When, I am tempted to be disobedient, I have to stop and think, I have to die of this thing, for I am a child of God and believe that if I seek ye FIRST and not my flesh or mind, all things will be added unto me.
