Youth Retreat is back and promises to be hotter than ever before! Youth Retreat 2008 is a Youth Conference geared for urban and suburban youth that desire to get in touch with God! It’s held every year just at the beginning of spring! Located on the beautiful grounds of the Forest Home Christian Camp Site in Forest Falls, CA, Youth Retreat 2008 will provide you with a wonderful opportunity to become closer to God, your friends and community.
God is inviting you to spend time with Him here in the beautiful Forest Home Christian Camp this spring. Come learn more about the life and wonders God is offering to you. He has amazing plans for you and the world is in desperate need of your gifts and your faith! This weekend conference makes for the best in Bible teaching available to a generation of youth yearning for absolutes in a world that says there are no absolutes. During this fun filled weekend, young people enjoy quality fellowship, adult mentors, and in-depth Bible teaching. Best of all - attendees will get to meet and hang out with new and old friends and learn how Christ is a part of everyone's journey through life. There is a great balance of faith and fun all weekend long!

Where? Forest Home Christian Camp Site in Forest Falls, CA
When? Youth Retreat 2008 is held April 4-6, 2008 with check-in beginning at 8 a.m. Friday morning at the Friendship Baptist Church of Yorba Linda in the Lower Parking Lot. Youth Retreat 2008 will conclude on Sunday afternoon at 3p.m.
What to bring? Please bring a sleeping bag, pillow, towel, two days worth of changes of clothes, personal care items, a second pair of shoes, your Bible and an open heart and mind. Bathrooms with showers will be available. Sleeping arrangements are not co-ed and are age appropriate.
Who and Why? Youth Retreat 2008 is a youth conference sponsored by Friendship Baptist Church of Yorba Linda California. This exciting conference is designed especially for youth in the 6th thru 12th grades. The focus of this youth retreat is to stir a hunger and thirst in youth to study God's Word and to build a relationship with God based on true authentic faith in Christ. This conference provides an opportunity for youth to socialize and share fellowship with one another, learn about what it means to be family, and to praise God together. This conference is open to other churches, and churches with 10 or more participants are expected to send advisors with their youth.
How much? The cost is $80 for members and $150 for non members. Friendship Baptist Church Budget picks up the addition cost for Friendship Youth. The direct cost of this event is $150 without transportation. Friendship Baptist Church also picks up that cost for members and visitors alike. Praise the Lord. This cost includes seven meals, two nights of lodging and transportation to and from the campsite. Also included in the fee are free gifts, a t-shirt and the ministry of Christ! What a deal!
