few good men, young adult men and teenagers to help us grow
our Cub Scout Program this year.
We promise not to take too much of
your time.
We promise to develop with your guidance and the Cub Scout Program
Already established.
We will make you proud if you will
consider helping us grow and develop.

GOALS AND OBJECTIVES FOR 2007 CUB SCOUTING PROGRAM
Dear Friendship Baptist Church Family:
The Cub Scouts of Friendship Baptist Church have
once again initiated programs that develop youth leaders who are
motivated to work with our young men in a worthwhile organization.
This organization is developing young Christian men into leaders
and good citizens while stressing discipline in many areas, from
crafts to dentistry, aviation to hiking, spiritual and personal
growth, developing academically and even identifying career goals.
Our goal is to deliver a Cub Scouting program that the entire
church can be proud of.
We have organized a schedule for our meetings and
activities, mobilized and participated in parades, and attended
various outings as a group, which has included not only Cub Scouts/Webelos/Tiger
Cub's, but also their Cub Masters, leaders, committee members
as well as parents of the scouts. The activities and outings encourage
and contribute to great spiritual and personal growth, as well
as future leadership and academic abilities within our church
the community and world we live in.
There is much work to be done in the areas of training
leaders and recruitment. In order for the Cub Scout Program to
elevate, it is the responsibility of every adult leader to take
leadership seriously. By this we mean, stay with course, be committed
to recruitment, make time for the training process and attend
Pack Meetings.
The Cub Scouts, Webelos and Tiger Cub's range from
age 4-1/2 to 10-1/2 years of age.
We welcome parents and anyone who
has a desire to help us insure this program continues
for our children and our church as we press toward higher ground.
Every man, young adult, and teenager is invited
to come assist us in the leadership of our Cub Scouts.
If every parent register's their young man for the
Cub, Webelos or Tiger Cub's and every man, young man and teenager
volunteer's to participate in the program with the Cub Master,
this year will be a huge success story that we will be able to
talk about for a long time to come because The Friendship Baptist
Church Scouting program is destined to be on the Scouting map
throughout California and the country if we unite and work
together. I look forward to working with you in 2007 and a BIG thank you to those who supported and worked
with us in the past.
